A recent survey conducted in Bangalore has revealed that 50% of the people in Bangalore are gays.
The survey was conducted by "##### ## #####" on "####" people living in "#### ######" says that 50% of people in Bangalore are Gays.

Let me give you some facts and figures. The topic concerned is selection of Indian of the year. A nation with a population 100 crores. The total number of prople surveyd wasv1005.
Survey was conducted only in metros. 15% of them voted him as Indian of the year which turns out to be 150.75 persons. So if 150.75 persons living in metros across India say that Amitabh is the India of the year, he tops the survey (still in progress I hope) and it gets displayed in headlines of the leading News paper of the nation. National Readership Coucil states that there are roughly 7.4 million readers of this paper. So almost 7.4 million people woke up today and read the opinion of 150.75 persons living in metros. How sad?
Explanation for why more than 50% of bangalooreans are gays
Question : Major population of bangalore consists of ? Male, female,gays, lesbians, hijdas .......
Result : Most of the Bangalooreans are gays.
Proof : (1005/1027015247)*650000
Explanation : If thousand peoples opinion can decide result of the survey regarding India, then how many people's opinion is enough for a survey regarding Banglore. If you do the above calculation ,it comes out to be 6.36 persons. My neighboursfamily has seven members. So if any one or two of them(15% of 6.36) feel that majority of the banglore consists of gays, they top the survey. And hence TOI can publish it.
The poll results does not display the actual reality or the opinion of the people. It is just the opinion of some particular class of people,especially living in the cities and that too metros. It is just unfair to consider this as the opinion of the whole nation.
The real Indian of the year is "AAA JANATA" who bravely faced so many disasters like tsunami,floods and drought but still kept their hopes and transferred it to the future generations.
It is really sad that we a nation of one billion had no other person to be voted as the Indian of the year. Come on people think big, THINK BEYOND THE NORMAL CRICKET,BOLLYWOOD AND POLITICS. There are so many people out there doing so many good things. It should be an oppurtunity to highlight those and not shed lime light on the bollywood actors who already have lot of it.
